Awaiting Customs Clearance 12:34 - Jul 24 with 1831 views | jeera | Bought an item via Ebay and according to tracking it's sitting in some warehouse/dock/something somewhere... What happens now, if anything? Do I just wait or demand the Hong Kong firm send another by rowing boat which will take another forever. The firm have apologised but asked for my patience but it's been weeks already. Where's Lucan when you need him?

Jiffy Max Partner Doll is my choice, wont be legal after brexit as France will be selling them only to Peugeot customers.

That's what's happened isn't it. It's being passed around Customs and they're all having a go on it.

Just ensure it's been filled with the correct gas. Could be a health hazard otherwise.

I'm not going to start posting videos of robotic sex dolls. You'll all have to make do with the bricklayers from yesterday.

I actually covered sex dolls in my latest uni assignment for rehabilitation purposes and got 96% for it, I almost linked my assignment on the forums, but I don't want people knowing that my real name is Peter Bentley

Libre [writer] office keeps freezing. Maybe you can help on that instead. I've used it for years and never had an issue, yet several times since yesterday, despite updating after around the 3rd time it happened.

It is difficult to diagnose remotely though I can think that somewhere along the lines a new build has ramped up the use of RAM and is leeching into virtual memory, are you running a lot of processes (not just applications) at the same time? Every so often I have to go in and clean up the startup list, a lot of programs tend to like to run in the back ground for updates and the such, and some of them inactive (or bg processes) don't seem to run off of virtual memory like they're supposed to, thus leaving active tasks with very little physical memory to work with.

No I don't think it's a CPU issue.* *Edit: oops, didn't mean to hit send yet. Plenty of space there as it's not an old machine and I am yet to fill it with too much crap. [Post edited 24 Jul 2019 13:28]

My theory is that It is not so much CPU as it is something around memory management.

Seems to be a very close 52% clogged up, leaving a sensible free-thinking 48% the other way.

Difficult one that, You might have to do a bit of google trouble shooting then as you'll know the intricacies of the problem better than I. I actually have gone back to using Office 365 because of the auto save to cloud feature, it has actually been super stable, and I get it for free.

There aren't many intricacies to be fair. I'm half way writing something then the fecking thing stops working. I have done the googly thing and there are other people arguing about it on other forums but that's it really. Someone did post this: "I found this solution that resolved it for me, suggested on another site (sorry, I don't remember where) where similar issue was posted and I decided to try it after exhausting all possibilities (antivirus, profile, different versions of Libre, graphics settings, libre settings, etc) suggested on my Windows 7 64bit OS: Disable context indexing on the computer itself: Open Windows Explorer Right-click on the hard drive, select Properties UN-CHECK the Allow files on this drive to have contents indexed in addition to file properties Apply How long it takes to update seems to depend on amount of files on hard drive - took 20 minutes to update my disk which has about 600GB used on a 900+GB drive Rebooted Opened Writer, opened the file (has images and text, and issue of Not responding for 120+ seconds able to recreate on demand when select Save), added text and an image, saved. And YES!! now Save completes immediately without long Not responding issue." The smarmy git.
