Garbutt reckons it’ll be a full house. Surely not?

Probably around 20k but there’s absolutely no way that would be a sell-out would it?

Norwood said last week he can’t wait to see it full for the Sunderland game.

They’re in for a shock haha.

That's the Lambert magic you're seeing there, they're upping their 'things to say in interviews to get the easily please onside' games significantly.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Will be a good crowd I imagine, low 20,000s - maybe a bit higher if we beat Burton.

Expect it will be a brilliant atmosphere either way.

Yeah can’t wait! Anyone know what our season ticket sales have reached since the price incentive offer closed? Must be pushing 14,000 + now surely?

I know 6 people going who didn’t do a single game last season.

They just want to see their team be competitive, not hanging on every week, from my POV if we do that in league one I’ll be infinitely happier than getting beat every week in the Championship.

All you want to see is your team win and score goals and come away happy, that’s what we go for it’s what thousands of fans of lower league clubs love.

Reckon we'll have around 22,000 there. Sunderland selling out their allocation will definitely help

Our new players haven’t played in front of more than 5k on a regular basis in league one , so 20k will “ feel” like a full house to them. Anyway it’s about the atmosphere created not bums on seats.. SBR is sold out lower tier I believe for this season, and it will be rocking .

Bring it on!!

....use to be a "lower league club".

That's the issue.

Just looked at the ITFC ticket site. We are a long way from sold out - two of the three sections in the Sir Bobby Robson Lower are sold out, but that's it.

Interesting too - there are around 2,100 seats in SBRL - and all but 38 of them appear to have been sold as season tickets. There is going to be a great atmosphere in there this season.

Just booked a ticket for myself and a non-Ipswich mate to come along. SBR lower all gone pretty much.

Elsewhere is fairly well sold already too. I'm sure plenty will wait on the Burton game before deciding.

Could very well be a decent first home attendance.

Pro holiday makers make sure that their break in the sun starts on the Sunday thus allowing viewing of THE worthwhile home fixture of the season.
