Predict the four final league tables - Competition 21:02 - Jul 29 with 3630 viewsThe_Romford_Blue

Thought I’d do a little comp for TWTD. Bit of fun.

Really simple, just predict the final tables for the four leagues. Say you have Charlton to come 5th, and they finish 12th, you’d get 7 points. The aim is to finish with the least amount of points. If you get a team to finish in their exact position, you get -3 points as a bonus.

Tables must all be in by Friday 7:45 (first game kicks off) and your four tables don’t have to be on the same post.

Premier League teams:
Arsenal
Aston Villa
Bournemouth
Brighton
Burnley
Chelsea
Crystal Palace
Everton
Leicester
Liverpool
Manchester City
Manchester United
Newcastle
Norwich
Sheffield United
Southampton
Tottenham
Watford
West Ham
Wolves

Championship Teams:
Barnsley
Birmingham
Blackburn
Brentford
Bristol City
Cardiff
Charlton
Derby
Fulham
Huddersfield
Hull
Leeds
Luton
Middlesbrough
Millwall
Nottingham Forest
Preston
QPR
Reading
Sheffield Wednesday
Stoke
Swansea
West Brom
Wigan

League 1 teams:
AFC Wimbledon
Accrington Stanley
Blackpool
Bolton
Bristol Rovers
Burton
Bury
Coventry
Doncaster
Fleetwood
Gillingham
Ipswich
Lincoln
MK Dons
Oxford
Peterborough
Portsmouth
Rochdale
Rotherham
Shrewsbury
Southend
Sunderland
Tranmere
Wycombe

League 2 table:
Bradford
Cambridge
Carlisle
Cheltenham
Colchester
Crawley
Crewe
Exeter
Forest Green
Grimsby
Leyton Orient
Macclesfield
Mansfield
Morecambe
Newport
Northampton
Oldham
Plymouth
Port Vale
Salford
Scunthorpe
Stevenage
Swindon
Walsall

Good luck anyone who decides to play

Did you see this...?

Calling all knowledgable gamblers by BaltachaFanClub 18 Jun 2019 7:45
Firstly, this is a bit odd.
As someone who has recognised his own problems with gambling, what I am about to write could come across as peculiar, but stick with me, I think you may like it...

Over the last 3 months, I have been working on a prototype of a “big bet” gambling game, where you would be required to make a lot of predictions for the coming season, and I mean a lot... over 100 predictions are involved, as it involves predictions for the entire 92 league places, cups, sackings and all sorts of stuff.

If you are interested, and would like to know more, I am looking to find between 3-8 volunteers from this forum, I will also be taking some non Ipswich supporting players, (yes, even some Norwich) and collecting up to 20 players in the initial run.

Rather than declare on this thread, please private message me, with your thoughts and whether you are a gambler or not.

If it goes ahead there will be a nominal entry fee to make up a prize fund.

Thank you for reading

For the purpose of this, if they are kicked out the league, they will be given 24th spot. If Bolton were to also go but after bury, they would then get 23rd.

I ought to have clarified that in the OP but better late than never.

Can't be bothered to do all the leagues

League 1
Sunderland
Ipswich
----------------------------
Peterborough
Lincoln
Portsmouth
Doncaster
--------------------------
Rotherham
Oxford
Blackpool
Fleetwood
Burton
MK Dons
Coventry
Bristol Rovers
Accrington Stanley
Gillingham
Rochdale
Southend
AFC Wimbledon
Wycombe
----------------------
Shrewsbury
Tranmere
Bolton
Bury - Bust

I'm not very knowledgable on the majority of teams transfers, etc. I think Lincoln will continue their good form and momentum from last year. Not exactly a bold prediction.

I assume I have Portsmouth lower than most and that is because they have lost Clarke.

I would have put us lower, but a lot of the same pundits who predicted us to go down are backing us to return.

It's sad, but I'm confident Bury will go bust. Bolton will probably get saved. But they both start on -12pts, so it is hard to see past relegation.

Tranmere lost Norwood, which will dent their survival chances. I could flip a coin from Shrewsbury to Southend.

Submit your 1-24 league prediction here -https://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/514096/page:1 - for the opportunity to get a free Ipswich top.

It’s not been received too well so far (which is fair) and if there’s less than 10 entries.. I shall effectively withdraw the comp.

Only a bit of fun. Be interesting to see who goes the closest across the four leagues I thought.

Kids read this site. If they can't read an unredacted f**k, c*ntwrangler, or t*tw**ker don't see why they are allowed to be exposed to gambling talk.

Before I'm leapt upon, I know this thread isn't about placing money bets, but it is part of a pattern on here where gambling is normalised. However, I repeat, this is mainly a censorship query as I have no issue personally with the original post.

I'd welcome any nondefensive or argumentative thoughts.

No match predictions, but things like worst discipline, sack race and golden boot winner.
Like I said, good luck with it, I hope you get your 10+ entries.
I have quite a bit of interest from both on and off TWTD, but my entry deadline is Aug 8th, so won’t know for sure until then.
