Strange thing is all 3 of those could be rather good this season.

In the end he wanted to leave, we got what we could and got some more today.

Time to move on.

You’ll be laughing on the other side of your face when we sell Janoi Donacien to Inter Milan for £18M this time next season

No, we will let him go cheap, or free, and his next club will sell him for that.

Nolan and Nsiala came from the Waghorn money.

Ah yes my mistake. Still, at least we will get £1.8M to not spend on anybody

Harrison and Edwards. Think Jackson might have been the Waggy money too, I remember him arriving a bit later.

We're damned if we do; damned if we don't aren't we?

We undersell players and everyone moans; we hang onto McGoldrick and Bialkowski and get nothing like as good value from them.

OK, sometimes it is clearly a poor decision but we seem to have got far too many of them wrong for far too long now, haven't we?

Evans would probably sanction the purchase of a new Bic biro for Lambert's office with that sort of money.

A bloody good flounce out a few who will remain nameless. Not as much as the Waghorn sale but still a decent return.

Lolling at the idea of Lambert having a pen. He has a pencil which has been sharpened down to within an inch of its life!

I think just better decision making needed - it wasn't difficult to see how Webster was going to be worth a whole lot more if he kept fit for a year in the Championship.

Centre-backs who look classy on the ball are very much in vogue right now, no-one even cares anymore if they give the odd goal away here and there as long as they can do a Cruyff turn.

Bart and McGoldrick weren't obvious mistakes, with or without hindsight.

Woah, a genuine Bic? Who’s sanctioning branded stationery when there’s perfectly adequate non-branded equivalents available?
