We needed to get Barts £20 G a year off the books, or at least offset some of it. Millwall would know that they had us by the goolies. I would be dissapointed if we didn't do the same thing to another club in the same situation. Its strictly business. |  | | |

Am I missing something or would Bart have lost out quite a lot from this?
Presumably Millwall are paying what is a League One wage as part of the loan deal. Would signing permanently not have seen Bart able to negotiate a new contract on a better wage? |  | | |
