Hardly a reserve team as many have stated. More of a team looking to integrate players who are intended to become regulars, in a season where the club is trying to compete at a higher level. Luton beat us well, but we fielded a weakened defence, left our linchpin midfielder on the bench, and chose to rest our two only strikers.
The positives are that Edwards seems fit again, Huws has taken a big step towards getting in the team, and that young Dobra scored a good goal. He'll be keen to get on again against Peterborough. Also Norris sounded like he made plenty of saves.
We're not going to face anyone as good as Luton in the league this season, and that is the main focus. With the paying fans continued backing this season i'm confident that we'll be in with a chance of promotion.

Izzy brown & Galloway are decent loans as well as some players who were in Luton’s first team last year. H3 other loans are a guy from Man City and Bree who are at least championship standard.
We had 2 youth players, Roberts upfront, Edwards and Huws starting for the first time in ages, a goalie who hasn’t played a proper match in 2 years. It’s a massive difference in “reserves”. |  | | |
