Holy's kicks 17:12 - Aug 16 with 2090 viewssuffolkpoker

Holy moly... they are huge.

Have we had a keeper with that large a kick before?
His throwing of the ball is almost as impressive.

Just nice having a keeper who doesn’t kick it off the pitch 80% of the time.

Kelvin Davis had a massive kick, certainly for someone who wasn't tall for a goalkeeper. Seemed to hit Kuqi in the opposition area quite regularly.

Probably my favourite Ipswich keeper

Or second, after Craig Forrest

His save at Upton Park in the play-off final is a thing of beauty. Think it was from Anton Ferdinand. Terrific reflexes and agility.

Hope they turn out to have more end product than Knusden's long throws!

It would be better if they were accurate , and not necessarily huge.

Trust me it is huge. The kick is not that bad either

His kicks are huge, as you say, and like missiles. He's built like a tank too and nevertheless seems pretty agile. Good signing.

I like how quickly he looks to distribute the ball, at Burton he launched a couple of counters as he was looking to turn them around as soon as he got his hands on the ball.

Was going to say about Davis!! He gave it a fair old whack!! The sound of leather on ball, proved just how far he kicked it. His technique was quite unique, used to hold his hand out as if he was reading from his palm and thwack!!

Holy's kicks are enormous, we just need to sign Murphy yet again, this time for his heading ability? One mighty kick from our keeper, a nod on from Murphy to Norwood, job done, without all that fiddling about at the back and midfield.
This is not meant to be too serious, but just a thought?
Ramsey used a different formation at Ipswich that then changed the English game.
Robson brought in two Dutch players that allowed Ipswich youth players to learn and blossom into the best ever Ipswich Town team.
The game has changed, everybody now has to be a total footballer, even the keeper, perhaps it is time to find a new formation in a way to compete?

His kicking style reminds me of a certain Matteo Sereni as soon as I saw him kick
