I think "poor penalty" is a bit harsh he kept it low and in the corner and hit it with reasonable power. The keeper went the right way and made a very good save. | |

It's way too close to the keeper for me and not got the laces through it. He's gone the right way and been rewarded with an easy save, didn't even need to push it out again. | |

He did well to get anything on that to be honest. I'm not sure it falling to a striker (edit wrong striker/goal apologies) fair to put down as his fault. We seem to have no shape or closing down in far too many moves today. [Post edited 17 Aug 2019 16:42]

If it is hit low and in the corner with reasonable power it is savable (as proved).
If he had hit it same place with more power it is a goal.
Really any penalty that does not go in is a poor penalty one way or another. |  | | |
