Am I in the minority of not having the same feeling of resentment towards them spending all that money, as I did with Chelsea, Man Utd etc?

Something about both Guardiola, Klopp and the players is just more respectful than the other teams in the past.

When Blackburn, Man Utd and Chelsea did it there was a sense of them "buying" their way to the title.

Nowadays, there is so much money in football all teams do. How much did Leicester spend when they won it? It won't have been an insignificant sum.

Norwegians love Liverpool. They can afford black market tickets, while families living in the city are queuing at food banks and can only dream of attending a game.

All the best teams 'buy it' now, so not like one team is blowing everyone else out of the water every summer

Their recruitment seems focussed and targetted - they spend big still obviously but not silly fees for bang average players

The relevance is that the obscene amount of money in the Premier League is fine if you can afford 200-300 for a ticket.

They do, but the ground is mainly full of scousers.

Yes, but whats the relevance?

The same goes for every elite club.

...and Norweigians have nothing to do with that.

It only would if it was true if Liverpool but not anywhere else.

As you say, there are people in Ipswich who cannot afford to attend our games while people travel over from Germany and Holland to do so. It is an issue with inequality in the world not just football.

I think its a farce how much money Man City can spend on players. To have a €65 million right back on the bench just to add competition to the squad shows how far its gone.

City tonked West Ham on the opening day and had 30 attempts on goal yesterday against the 3rd place finisher last season. I resent every club spending that sort of cash, not because we don't have it but because it makes a mockery of the PL and football being a competition.

The inequality across the globe is the biggest problem, and (IMO) the driver behind the immigration ‘crisis’.

The Swiss in 2016, voted against the opportunity to pay all citizens a universal basic wage, at a referendum. The wage would be paid by the government to everybody whether in work or not. Including children, although the6 would get a reduced child’s rate. I assume the Swiss rejected it is n the basis of cost and it would prove their nation out of things.

Now I’dont understand how it would be funded, but imagine if this could be done on a worldwide scale. Everybody across the whole world paid the same basic sum no matter whether in work or not. You would then earn extra if at work. Surely this would particularly benefit all those who suffer as the less fortunate in the world. Perhaps it would enable them to live closer to their birthplace if they wished, closer to their loved 9nes and friends.

It may be a simplistic and silly idea. But if automated processes are on the increase, then it ain’t going to be long before many of us can’t find a job, then how are we going to go watch Liverpool, City or whoever.

Inequality is a major problem, that will become more of an issue when the western societies are affected by the loss of jobs due to automation.

Liverpool, like Man U, don't have spare season tickets to sell.
If you had one last season then it gets renewed.
It's paid for by not attending every match and selling enough matches on the black market at inflated prices to cover the cost.
These are scousers after all and this 'arrangement' has been happening for decades.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

And in Man City’s case, if they can’t sign who they want(Jorginho last summer), they then wait until the right player comes along again (Rodri this summer).
