i assume chambers and edwards rested, fair enough.

looks more of a defensive side without jackson, not sure if that's the way to go when playing home against wimbledon?

kvy not even on the bench, hope the toe's not a long injury

There is, and you'd hope we'd blow them away even with that team. Took me a while to work out if he'd gone with Skuse at the back or not as the XI is a bit versatile for its own good.

Shane McLoughlin on their bench too, nice to see him having a career after us and all his injury frustration.

there won't be many league one teams with a stronger bench than that!

I thought he’d try and wheel out Chambers tonight then give him Saturday off but having played him v Luton he would need looking after.

If we hammer Wimbledon (which isn't likely I think they are fairly tight in defence looking at it) then he may well give him longer off.

There's no point working Chambers and Skuse to death at this stage of the season.

I suspect 433 with Skuse at the base of a midfield chevron

must be at least 4 million quid's worth of transfer fees alone there. Quite bizarre really, when you think about it.

yeah, will be interesting to see how this formation plays out. I would have started with Jackson in there somewhere, for his pace alone.

You’d hope for 433 over 4231 at home, can understand leaving Jackson out as Wimbledon aren’t going to push a high line and leave space for him to run into, and that seems to be the entirety of his job atm, good to get another creative player on instead.

I'd love to see 15-20 mins from Huws tonight if we are comfortable and watch him wade through Wimbledon and get his confidence up. He was mustard at Burton and stood out a mile in terms of quality.

Had he made the pass to Judge instead of being greedy we'd have had a really positive start to the season.
