Can surely do a job at this level?

Are the wages the sticking point on why we aren't giving him a chance, given the number of games we will be playing this season decent back up players will be important

I would say he is more than capable at this level.

It is probably a case of him finishing his rehab and proving his fitness before an offer would be formally made. Could well be the case discussion have taken place and both parties are in the know, that could be either there is a contract for him or there won't be.... Would seem an obvious thing to do given he's at the club anyway working with the physios etc

It seems odd that no one picked up grant ward since he left us, ok he wasn't consistent for us, but there were far less talented players snapped up for free. Obviously he has a different idea of where he should be than clubs do at the moment.

He was pretty uninspiring for a long time. Perhaps playing under Lambert could do him some good, but under Mick he went backwards over time.

Makes sense to have a look once he's fit, but we don't really need him at the moment IMO. I certainly wouldn't see where he fits in, especially if one of Bishop or Huws can prove their fitness into the 2nd half of the season. I expect he'll find a club in at some point though. I notice Adeyemi is still unattached. Bowditch too is yet to find a club I believe, and Ando, although I would imagine their sights will be set a little lower than L1.

He rejected Rotherham in the pre-season, their fans were a bit upset with him over that as apparently very few are willing to give him another go due the baggage he brings with him, seemed to be a personality conflict there?
