Odd that someone who promotes hate and division can't find much love and unity.

A couple of years ago, 'top' US nazi Richard 'crybaby' Spencer anounced he was giving up hosting rallies because every time he did, they were chased out of town. Proof, right there, that punching nazis DOES work.

POTD.

Made me smile. Thanks.

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

It is funny hearing people who have made a living saying things like "Get a real job", "It's your fault you're poor" and "the world doesn't owe you a living" suddenly refuse to get a real job, blame censorship as the reason they can't make money and insist more people follow them to help them make money.

Even funnier when that person is an actual piece of sh1t.

It's an interesting case, especially when a genuine argument about whether they should just be ignored or forcibly given no platform.

Think this deliberate 'hate' which is clearly an act in most peoples case has a shelf life, but they get so swept up in it - guess when your soul is sold you need to try and believe it.

I think that makes his 'job' even more depressing. There's a market and real money to be made from peddling real, nasty hate that genuinely gets people hurt.

It's funny when these libertarian right wingers, who are all usually all about the power of corporations to do as they wish, start blubbing about how they suffer when they break the terms and conditions those private corporations set.

They can invoke the US constitution all they like, this isn't a matter of free speech. It's a matter of failing to stick to the T&Cs set by a private corporation in order to use their platform.

ARE THERE TOMMEH briefly denounced racism and did some TV shows where he spent time in Muslim communities broadening his world view until he realised not being racist wasn't an easy pay cheque. And back he went. Same with Hopkins, no sensible person is going to employ her in the media now other than a an extreme right wing platform who wants to keep her in the spotlight for agenda reasons.

I don't think this is fair personally, as someone who identifies themselves as basically a Centrist, there is still a moral standard that applies.

It is frustrating when those on the left of debates can let themselves down as it plays into the memes you've shown above, and gives those with more right wing tendancies an opportunity to say they are just as bad. But think most centrists can see right and wrong, and that may be the fish hook needs to bring 'far right' back above the 'right' rather than centrist

It's a shame with Tommy, because some of the things he was doing and the positions he was taking were genuinely interesting having come in from where he was (if he was ever there), but like you say easy money as the 'enemy of the state', especiially from the Yanks who are mad for this sort of thing

My favourite is when they say "so much for the tolerent left". The left has never been tolerant of racists, fascists and Nazis.

That made me laugh. And yes I know i'm sometimes guilty of the general 'balanced' ideal but it's not as black and white as those suggest most of the time.
