You need get off at Prittwell ,as it's only a 5-10 minutes walk to the ground, if you go to Southend it's a 20-25 minutes walk to the ground. | | | |

Seems easier to get a train to Liverpool St > Southend central > ~20 min walk to the ground. As it sounds a nightmare to get to Prittlewell without catching a coach replacement.
The other alternative for people that can't walk too far is Liverpool st > Southend central > ~10 min walk to Southend Victoria & catch the 2 min train to Prittlewell
If anyone knows an easier method starting from Ipswich let me know. |  | | |

Think of some of us who have to travel an hour by train to Marylebone, tube across London and then train to Southend with bus replacement along the way!
Alternatively - car journey of 45 minutes on M40, round the M25 and onto Southend (whichever road that is). A journey of probably well over 3 hours.
