Deja vu for Hurst 01:12 - Sep 13 with 2260 viewsJimInGreensboro

Paul Hurst has just-relegated Scunthorpe last in League Two, winless in their first 7 matches, scoreless in their last 3 league games, having given up the most goals in the league at 15. History repeats.

He broke himself with his terrible attitude and bully boy tactics

The weird thing is he had a really good record before he came to us.

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

I don't like seeing a manager fail, but Hurst really had a golden opportunity at Ipswich, even finishing lower mid table would have extremely boosted his profile as a manager, yet he came in bigger than the club, and soon become Norwich's favourite Town manager.

Really is quite profound how he has slumped so hard in a short time.

Scunthorpe have got two home games against teams near the bottom this week, a couple of defeats and he could be sacked by wednesday morning.

Yeah winning the Lincolnshire Senior Cup twice and the Lincolnshire Senior Shield was exceptional! Another fun Hurst fact - in a decade of management he's not won a league at any level with any team.

Odd metric to use.

Robson and Burley never won a league with us.

Hurst is a weapon and I'm happy to see him fail, but most managers never win a league.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

What a weird post. There's no denying that Hurst had a very successful career in the lower leagues before coming here.
