I would say that Lambo wasn't "wrong", just not brilliantly funny or clever as an idea. Maybe a C+ for Attainment.
But if you were a manager and saw that the supporters had put in their hard earned money to have a banner made with your face and name on, even after you have been relegated, then surely you'd feel massively backed and encouraged, whether the banner had a brilliant idea or not. I respect both and would refrain from being persistently rude and obnoxious if I didn't like one, as it takes a lot of time, effort and resources to do them. It is natural that not everyone can like them, so I'd definitely more on quickly from it, rather than desperately try and get noticed through negative comments. That's just me anyway.
