That's the best result from an east anglian side since the premiership started

That’s up there.

I liked our win at Elland road early in the season where everyone was predicting a 6-0 Leeds victory after they had that good champions league side. the 0-1 at Anfield with Stewart dancing past Hyppia

I thought Ipswich winning 2-0 at top of the table Norwich in December 1992 was better.

Why not support Norwich or Derby, Benters?

Might give us all some blessed relief.

Ipswich beating Liverpool at Anfield in 2000, making us the only team to take 3 points at Anfield that season was much better.

Sadly it’s true.

And to think we were the better side at home when we played them this time last year, even with Hurst as manager.

Very true - couldn’t see how the two sides would move in opposite directions after that game.

We beat Man Utd at home the season they won the league in 1993, we also beat them 3-2 at home when they were Champions in 1995 the same season we lost 9-0 at their place.

Comparing results in different eras is pretty futile. It’s also a little sad to me when a phrase like ‘when the Premiership started’ is used - which it is all the time. It’s like a year zero in that football never existed before 1992.

If people believe that (Sky obviously do), why not completely expunge all records before 1992?

I'd say turning over Inter Milan at home was probably the better result and the better game actually.

Good question. On paper are the players of Man City better then the players of our famous win at Liverpool. Possibly yes but hate to admit it.
