I think England.

Probably any of NZ, SA, England, Ireland, Wales and Australia can win it.

There are likely to be some very close knockout games. I'm struggling to pick a winner as 1 off games can be so unpredictable especially with the sides all being so close.

Agree re:the unpredictability once we get to the QFs. Which is why I'd put France and Scotland in there too. France because they always seem to do well in the WC and Scotland who can beat anyone (or lose to anyone) on their day.

I hope somebody stops NZ, but I think the sport's world champions will be them again.

Anyone want to pick a big upset in the group stages? I'm going for Fiji over Australia

Hard to see past NZ. On their day they’re the best team in the world, hands down.

That said I would write off England. Australia, SA and Wales are outsiders with a faint chance. My dark horses are France, perhaps this WC is too early for them but I would back them to be strong over the next few years for sure, they’ve got some serious talent coming through.
