Apparently as many as 15 Saracens players are at the World Cup, which makes the domestic competition a bit of a farce. It is starting later than usual, sometime in October.
When players return from the World Cup they will need a decent recovery period if they have played regularly. That's without taking injuries into consideration.
Saracens beat Wasps yesterday in some sort of funny competition.
Pretty much the same as they manage during the Six Nations.
Sides with the best players are used to it (even though that probably helped Exeter in recent years with more of their players under the radar internationally). But rugby teams use 23 players in a normal game and the "first team" is a much bigger pool of players than in football so it doesn't have a massive effect.
