Lives close to where John Peel used to live as well. And was friendly with him.
John Peel did a evening dinner and speech at carrot road alot of years back and Delia was there. I was chatting to John Peels wife after the speech (who was/is a season ticket holder at town though a liverpool fan first). And Delia came over.
She was a bit sherried up then but generally quite friendly and pleasant. I think some of the abuse we sing is a bit close to the knuckle. Stuff that wouldnt be acceptable on social media probably shouldnt be ok as a terrace chant. |  |

I knew she lived in Suffolk but just assumed it was smidgen before the Norfolk border as she is so entwined and associated with Norwich City. It just surprised me.
If she’s lived here for over 40 years she must be more enamoured towards Suffolk as a place more so than Norwich/Norfolk on the whole. [Post edited 23 Sep 2019 12:14]

We use to wonder where the got all the money from, they had two really good pro's who played first class cricket.
But loaned them out to other local Suffolk clubs on Saturday's and played them in the Sunday league which you couldn't get promotion into the East Anglian premier league.
