Are we just getting him fit and then he's leaving?

We have to get him back to fitness, we have a duty of care to him as the injury was sustained with us.

I don't think so, no. We have an obligation to do his rehab but I can't imagine we owe him a wage.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him offered an end of season deal when he is fit. Useful player to have around, and need some cover out wide, especially if Georgiou doesn't stay.

I thought when fit he was off to Rotherham?

He wants a club, to be closer to his family in London.

I think we've got too many midfield options so no need to offer him a contract. But I imagine Ward is a player who would look very good at this level.

We have a fair number of under-performers in the Championship who have already done well from a drop down and a chance to re-establish their confidence and value to the team.

Could we do a swap for Gwion with Edwards going the other way to join Unattached FC

He can operate wide on the right. Perhaps if Edwards is falling slightly short he could be an option.

No, he’s already left. He’s a free agent and not on the payroll. He’s just getting back to fitness which we have an obligation to support with. I would say it’s unlikely he’ll resign for us, barring some sort of injury crisis.

If you were to arrange all of those midfielders into a team, what would it look like?

I’d go...

GK: El Miz

RB: Dobra

CB: Downes

CB: Skuse

LB: Edwards

CDM: Dozzell

RCM: Nolan

LCM: Bishop

CAM: Huws

ST: Judge

ST: Rowe
