Mcgoldrick was awful, Norwood looks shaky, Jackson blew his chance (which was weird because he scored a lot for Accrington)

Didn't know that.
However, Didzys penalties were horrid to watch. He used to dribble them in the corners, and the keeper always had a chance. He took them for Sheff U, but was quickly removed after he missed one in the Steel city Derby. | |

Moreover, might encourage him to have a go at scoring more often. When there's nothing else on, a Skuse thunderbolt could provide a useful bonus. |  |

Garbutt was the obvious taker for me. Jackson taking it fell into the "I won it, I'm taking it" bracket.
Garbutt also had a word with Jackson just before he took the pen. I wonder whether that maybe put some kind of doubt in his mind...? |  |

Ted Phillips was not one for placing his penalty kicks either.
If the goalkeeper dived it was more likely that they were trying to get out of the way rather than trying to save it.
