I dont agree its madness if fact i think its really good for young players to get some football that is at least more competetive than the under 23's . I know that its a sorry term but 'years ago ' their were reserve fixtures every week so youngsters had the chance to develop and play week by week that now just does not happen . |  | | |

confused.com reading all those! Sounds like it's time they simplified the whole thing. What's wrong with straight knock out? Would save all the hassle of group games as well. Could still do North and South straight knock out with the winners of North vs South in the final at Wembley. |  |
