That really highlights how mental it is that anyone has picked someone other than Hurst as our worst manager in the other thread, and that’s before you even then consider the starting point and we’ve ended as a result

Given we're in the third division, I think all premier leagues and championship matches being removed might be a fairer reflection, or at least would manipulate the stats in a different way.

Was just going to say. Games at different levels so hard to tell. Should be given a higher weighting to premier league and less to div3. Or exclude them as you say

As you wish

G. Burley 1.5902439024
J. Royle 1.5396825397
J. Lyall 1.504
J. Duncan 1.4933333333

M. Mcartthy 1.4086021505

B. Ferguson 1.3438735178
P. Lambert 1.1956521739
P. Hurst 0.6666666667

This assumes all these games are league games - no idea if that is true, don't know where the original numbers came from.

Someone else can remove Div 1 and 3. CBA.

Lambert out.

A quarter of Lamberts games have been in a lower division than that managed in by any other manager in our modern history.

Anybody got stats for Mick McGiven or is that a brief period of time we'd simply rather forget? I seem to remember a certain game away to Man Utd when he was in charge and we somehow managed nil nil but 90 minutes felt more like 900 minutes (listening on the radio) as it was just wave after wave of Utd attack. How we got a point that game I'll never know!
