Are there any Angel Investors on this forum looking for a new opportunity?

My company needs £300k seed funding to launch a soluble, sustainable packaging innovation to market through our new brand proposition - the innovation is currently patent pending. The business has a short term objective to create demand in its sector with a long term objective to support local sourcing and reduce foreign imports. However, there are both B2B and B2C opportunities to discuss as part of different exit strategy considerations.

If anyone on here is interested in discussing this or knows of anyone, DM me and i'll be happy to discuss it with you in more detail.

I wish crowdfunding was an option for us! However, if you're an Angel Investor, a presentation is one Skype call away. I think the odds of me finding an investor who is also a Towen fan are pretty remote though but worth a shot!

might be worth putting a rough number in the required investment, i know a number and do some myself, but you could be talking £10k to £500k.....

Thanks, I've updated it. The raise is £300k.

There are dozens of venture capital Firms in Cambridge and London who will be really keen on this type of stuff.

Google them.

Probably more likely than one of these herbert's helping out.

Being serious - have you actually considered applying for Dragons Den? This sounds right up Deborah Meaden or PeterJones' street. Don't know what their planning is for next series tho, or how tough it is to get selected to appear.

There’s so much appetite for investment out there at the moment for the right businesses, especially with so much EIS tax relief that I would suggest reaching out to HNWI through the relevant websites and directly to VC firms with a track record of seed investment.

I think you have to be beyond desperate to consider dragons den.

You'd have to be "beyond desperate" to appeal on here!!

Btw, could you (or anyone else) explain to me how to calculate the value of a business, please? Something that's always referred to on DD, but has never been explained. Googling has thrown up confusing answers - could be any of 3 ways apparently, or is there just one way if you're seeking investment in the UK?
