No i'm not trying to gloss over an awful performance or the fact PL got it wrong before and during the game, but we were awful and yet were never really fully out of it. Two chances cleared off their line, their penalty coming from an utterly stupid mistake from a player who isn't fully fit and us having three (possibly four) players out who are genuine first teamers.

I know people love embracing the negative and i'll get some stick but in the position we are in I think we can forgive one bad game. Lets see what happens on Wednesday and hopefully this will just be a single game blip. We were never going to go unbeaten.
