Great for them though. Glad a non league club got it.

I go to uni and currently live in Chichester.

Must admit, I was more worried about who they got then who we got (as long as it wasn't us)

Delighted for them...

Brilliant. The bye money goes to a true grassroots club where it will be really appreciated and well used.

With the last few teams in the hat, was getting very worried that it would end up in the coffers of MK or Posh. Thank heavens not.

Only difference is Tom Adeyemi got it pretty much every week for the duration of his contract.

Tom Adeyemi has never earned anywhere near that much money a week

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

Hence the "pretty much".

I have no idea what he was actually on. Perhaps every month was more accurate.

They’ve gone on record to say they are donating some of the earnings to Bury as well, and it looks as though some Bury fans are adopting them for a cup run, so that’s pretty class all round.

They’ve already played 5 or so games!

I didn't look all that happy did I?

I flicked through the game yesterday just to confirm that what I thought at the time about particular incidents was in fact correct and naturally all my original thoughts were correct.

We saw you too. We were suprised you were in the seated area at the front. You usually go in the terrace. We sat there earlier in the year but nearer the back.

At least you kept dry! Felt sorry for the ones who must have got soaked at the beginning.

I got a seat for that one because of the open terrace plus the fact that I would not be feeling too lively because of next to no sleep the night before.

Got a little bit damp where I was anyway.

edit-just realised that I got my ticket before kick off time was changed so I got a seat because of the open terrace.

edit2-kick off time on ticket is noon so original part of this post is correct.

Great to see they have done this too. Remarkable that the club which is arguably in most use of the cash, is the first to put their hands in their pockets.

It would be great if some of the bigger clubs, which will play in the first round, also made a contribution.

Just over 50 games were played in the 1st round last season, including replays, attracting an attendance of around 150,000. Assuming a £20 average price per ticket, 1% of proceeds would generate £30,000.
