the game has got way faster so more injuries happen. Players are way nearer the limit of what the human body can deal with than 20 years ago.
We've just had bad luck, it's cyclical, other clubs are having bad luck. At some point we'll go a season with no serious injuries and it will just be luck rather than any change.
The serious injuries that player shave had are just bad luck, take Nydam for example, nothing can stop that happening.

The recovery room is surely something that is designed to help with injuries though, so the lack of that may have contributed |  |

Not having any sort of recovery room or spa facility is an amazing revelation, and I choose to believe this was due to Marcus being either too tight or too uninterested to invest in it, and I further choose to believe it will definitely have contributed to having so many players taking so very very long to get rehabbed. |  |

To be fair to Hurst, from what I heard, he couldn't believe the state of the facilities at Playford Road when he arrived. I know he made ME buy all new gym equipment, as our stuff was years old before that. |  |

We had a pretty good injury history during the Keane/Jewell days, and probably early Mick.
