He's not though. Guardiola looks for forwards with excellent tight control and bursts of movement. Bale, for all his attributes of which there were/are many, doesnt fit that bill. I love him and think he is one of the best international players of the last few years with what he has done with Wales but it seems fewer and fewer big clubs are after that sort of rangy athletic powerful type up front these days. | |
