Yes, but how did Edwards do?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Thought he looked very shaky defensively but was good past the halfway line

Poll: Mick in or out? (not a dig at Mick just want to see the overall opinion on here)

Not very good first half, much better second half.

His recovery tackles actually got the ball rather than the man as they normally tend to do.

He looked better than he usually does I thought.

Think a lot of unfair criticism has gone his way considering he isn't a right back. He prefers left wing but often plays right wing or occasionally wing back. He's filling in a hole without complaining and doing a job for us as asked by the manager. Thought he done what he needed to do ok and wouldn't be against seeing him there again if KVY is out.

Poll: Paul Lambert moves on, would you be happy if Jim Magilton was given another go?

Yeah, he wasn't bad.

Not massively convinced he's a right-winger maybe better as a wide attacker in a three so he can chase around and get in the box. But he definitely looked like he could do the job as cover for KVY.

It's clear to me Lambert really doesn't want a lot defensively from his full-backs.

He is more about how much they can give to the team and bring to the attacking phase.
Which makes sense when you consider with Skuse and Downes playing that's normally 4 players in a more defensive position

It's also why any full-back who can't attack hasn't cut it under Lambert

Wouldn’t want him at full back against a good side
