Think a lot of unfair criticism has gone his way considering he isn't a right back. He prefers left wing but often plays right wing or occasionally wing back. He's filling in a hole without complaining and doing a job for us as asked by the manager. Thought he done what he needed to do ok and wouldn't be against seeing him there again if KVY is out. |  |

Yeah, he wasn't bad.
Not massively convinced he's a right-winger maybe better as a wide attacker in a three so he can chase around and get in the box. But he definitely looked like he could do the job as cover for KVY. |  |

It's clear to me Lambert really doesn't want a lot defensively from his full-backs.
He is more about how much they can give to the team and bring to the attacking phase.
Which makes sense when you consider with Skuse and Downes playing that's normally 4 players in a more defensive position
It's also why any full-back who can't attack hasn't cut it under Lambert
