... in to retirement if he's got any sense.

Time to let go and enjoy life.

Now we know why Spurs have held off on firing Poch for so long.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

I swear he said once he always wanted to manage Ipswich. It was either him or Holloway.

I thought he’d probably go after yesterday’s result...

I reckon he’ll be back doing a great escape job by February

Being a football manager isn't enjoying life? What an odd post.

I should think it’s very stressful.

And Col always looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Time to go and enjoy his retirement in Cornwall.

I was thinking yesterday that although he is the pantomime villain and we've had our own history with him, particularly in the Blunts days, he is a good character in sport. I actually quite respect him as a gaffer and you can't knock that he knows what he's doing.

Who are going to replace him and Mick when they both finally retire?

Hasn’t he ‘retired’ before only to end up taking another job?

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

He wanted to go at the end of last season, but was persuaded not too. He has talked for a while about enjoying retirement with the wife whilst they are both young and healthy enough to do so. I think he has lost some friends over recent years and it spooked him.

Wasn't he recently named as one of a handful of managers who always need to be "looked after" by an agent? Coincidence I'm sure. But you suspect that as with Fergie, there are enough things to occupy him to keep him out of the dugout now.
