At what point would we start playing our full strength squad in this cup? 11:10 - Nov 12 with 1740 viewshatch

Hypothetically, which round would we reach before we started to playing our recognised first team? Or would we still have our kids out at Wembley?

Never.

Lambert wont do it either. If he doesn't do it in the FA Cup I doubt he will do it in this.

I'd thought about this.

Say if we got to the final (quite likely I think, whether PL likes it or not) with a bunch of kids/reserves, surely he wouldn't deny long-standing players like Skuse/Chambers a day out at Wembley in a final would he?

FWIW, I'm quite enjoying the cup now, purely for the novelty factor and the (somewhat arrogant) fact that we hopefully won't play in it again.

I'm planning on going to every game I can with it. I don't really know why.

You won't be saying that when we come 2nd and then draw Exeter away

This post just reminds me when Mick denied all of our long standing players and top servants a run out at Old Trafford. In favour of Polish Pete, Tommy Oar and Josh Yorwerth.

For me its either a Wembley final or a draw against Norwich... whichever comes first!

Not sure if I'd love or dread a final against their u23s at Wembley... the thought of their kids beating us in front of 80k people gives me the heebie geebies.

No way against Norwich at any stage. Play the Youth Team and take the fine if we get drawn against them at any point

We will never need to take the fine at any point in this competition as our list of qualifying players includes many fringe players.

Yes they are out, they have played all their games and got just 3 pts.
Bit of a relief , was dreading getting drawn against them, we would have played a reserve team , so it would basically be Ipswich U23s V Norwich U23 but thats not the way they would tell the story on Look Norwich.

I doubt we'll ever be 100% full strength unless we got to the final but i'd like to see progressively stronger teams if we do go through the rounds.

Truly impaired.
