I’ve currently got all my music and photos on a second hard drive in an elderly Mac Pro and I stream it to various things in the house using a DLNA server (Twonky). It’s getting a bit full and I may replace the Mac at some point in the not too distant future. So, am thinking of shifting all the files onto a NAS and using that. I have a more recent Dell Windows PC I could use as storage too, but would rather something that doesn’t take up quite so much room.

Bought a reconditioned WD MyCloud for my music library, cost about £80 and works perfectly with Sky router and my Sonos speakers. Accessible from various gadgets on the network, iPad, iPhones, pC windows laptops and a Mac.
