Bloomin' your lot coming over here with your whiskey and your rainbows and pots o' gold. I have Irish in my family too, though aunt and cousins through marriage only. I think. It all gets a bit confusing after a while. This one with the funny accent married one with a slightly 'tinged' colour and on the other side someone with a large nose married some white English bloke. They had 4 sons who all grew up in the East End and became tailors. And somewhere along the line I was a result. I can't sew and I don't believe in rainbows nor have a pot of gold. Nor a funny accent. And thankfully not my father's family big nose. Maybe a slight tinged colour.

COYBIG!! The team we’ve picked isn’t filling me with much confidence though unfortunately

Are we supporting Denmark tonight? on 21:40 - Nov 18 with 2981 views | J2BLUE | I've been telling anyone who would listen that Ireland will sit back for 70 mins, go 1-0 down, the handbrake will come off an they might equalise but they won't win. I now look like the fooking oracle.

Mick was out-Micked by his Danish counterpart. Denmark had just the one shot on target all evening & scored with it.

7 goals in this group. 7... That’s why they aren’t top 2

Poetic justice given ROI’s undeserved late equaliser in Denmark.

Surely they're not top two because we played Bolton's youth team? Or something.

If only in a must win game MM picked a team that wanted to win the game! I mean 1 slow striker up top who has the sum total of 1 goal for his country in a must win game, they deserve everything they get, MM should be careful what he wishes for lol

That is incorrect. A clean sheet tonight would have meant top 2. With 7 goals.

Which would have been incredibly unjust and unfair on Denmark who are a far superior team in every way

The difference is Eriksen. Which is a big difference. But if you navigate a group and get more points than a better team, that’s the nature of it. Ireland got close with their limited resources. [Post edited 18 Nov 2019 22:02]

It’s a good point but predominantly it’s boris Johnson’s fault. There’ll be an article along shortly to prove it.

No it’s not, scoring more goals against Gibraltar and Georgia would have made no difference They’re not top 2 because they failed to win tonight, where a clean sheet and scoring one (as they did) would have seen them finish second
