Posted similar earlier (well actually, I mistakenly thought it was only 29 years as Wiki says we went out in R2 in 1990/91 which I assumed was some quirk with Div 2 teams entering a round earlier that year, but turns out was just an error!)
I doubt many teams can match that run, even if our recent form in that round has been woeful | |

We lost 2-3 to Southampton in the 3rd round of the FAC in 1991.
On the subject of the third round, if we lose to Coventry, the 2020's will be the same as the 2000's in that we won't play a FAC game until a year in to the decade.
(3rd round in 1999-2000 was in December 1999 and we lost to Southampton 0-1 at home on a Monday night, 2019-20, loss to Cov) | |
