Rome hotel recommendations please. 08:56 - Nov 25 with 595 views | StochesStotasBlewe | Looking to book a 3 night midweek trip for early March. Anyone got any good suggestions for a reasonably priced centrally situated hotel please.
| We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub. |

Rome hotel recommendations please. on 09:35 - Nov 25 with 530 views | Kieran_Knows | Was there last weekend. We stayed at Hotel Mancino 12. Was small, but nice modern hotel, fairly central to everywhere - I'd say no more than 15 minute walk to most of the main attractions (and was a short train ride to the Vatican). Was very reasonably priced for 3 nights.

Rome hotel recommendations please. on 09:44 - Nov 25 with 517 views | WeWereZombies | Avoid Hotel Fawlty Towers (yes, honestly, someone in Rome has called their dive that) at all costs. We thought it would be a bit of fun to stay somewhere called that but I do not think I have ever stayed in such a joyless place. It is a block away from the main train station and affordable though. But flimflam's apartment suggestion is much better, not stayed in one in Rome but rented a very plush one in Arezzo for not very much. Not Italy but recently stayed in Coimbra, Northern Portugal at an apartment that overlooked the roof of the cathedral and was spacious as well as decently appointed.
