All very noble, but we've seen it multiple times now where teams come here and boss the referee and we do nothing other than accept it.
I'm not saying we should do it ourselves, or at least not to the extent that the likes of Wycombe do, but we should at least be strong enough to not allow the opposition to intimidate / influence the officials - if the opposition are in the officials ears, then so should we be, and putting ourselves between the opposition and the officials to stop it happening. |  |

To be fair, Chambers, Norwood, Skuse, Wilson are all pretty street wise. I do think we can have more of that in the middle though, Skuse is a bit too nice. Downes is a bit of a b**tard, in a good way. He's a miss when he's out. |  |

Probably one of those where you don't see it in your own team. Plenty will moan that their forwards aren't streetwise like Norwood. Downes, Skuse and Chambers are pretty strong and comfortable with tactical foul as is Nolan really.
The mad part is that we have people desperate to remove Chambers and Skuse, that really would leave us vulnerable especially if replaced for Dozell etc. |  |

Town are simply not streetwise enough for this division and that alone will be a reason why we may not get out of it for a long while. We simply don’t play the same type of game as our opponents.
Of course they’re going to come to PR and shut up shop. We’d do the same if the roles were reversed. ALL the teams visiting PR this season , will shut up shop, time waste, look to disrupt our rhythm and passing game. Anything they can go to achieve thus they will do.
Town need to wise up, and play teams at their own game in a lot of respects. We must win the individual battles. But the biggest thing that is hampering us it seems is the shocking level of officiating in our games. I’ve never seen anything like it in all the 50 years of following Town.
Frankly Town should be awarded all 3 points retrospectively after last nights officiating performance. We have quite literally been robbed. |  |

i do keep saying it and usually get shouted down, but we aren't good enough at gamesmanship and general cheating as most other sides are. Wycombe are one of those up and coming Bournemouthesque sides who happen to be very good at it. |  | | |
