Wycombe have gained... 14:27 - Nov 27 with 1829 views | Sikamikanico | 9 points from goals scored in the last 10 minutes of games this season. It was noticeable they upped their tempo in the last few minutes. Seemed to be their plan to let the opposition tire and then go for it
Wycombe have gained... on 14:36 - Nov 27 with 1801 views | SomethingBlue | I thought they were excellent physically — really, really fit. It's clearly paying off. When they did manage to put a few passes together in added time they came close-ish to cutting us open. Horrible to watch on the whole but I can completely see why they've done well so far.

Yes they are clearly playing to their strengths.
Wycombe have gained... on 14:44 - Nov 27 with 1761 views | Illinoisblue | and five consecutive clean sheets. It's impressive. Very well knit and organised. Be interested to know what, if any, squad rotation they've been doing. Special mention to fat lad, too. Hope for all of us!

They closed the ball down really quickly right from the start, and kept doing it. They had to be fit to keep on doing it and doing it so well, seemed like there were three players hurling themselves towards the man with the ball every time. Definitely took some fitness levels to keep that up.

Hardworking TEAM working to plan A. You know what to expect when you play them. You have to take your chances sadly we didn't. They force mistakes, for example pressured Chambers into letting the ball bounce on the edge of the area gaining a goal scoring opportunity as a result. Fortunately Holy was up to it.

He didnt let the ball bounce. He headed it away, that it wasnt a great header was because it was a difficult ball to deal with, it was just hanging there, and he also had Akinfanwe barging him in the back. I agree with the rest of what you said though.

Wycombe fan in peace Thought the referee spoiled a game that was actually quite entertaining for a 0-0. Quality save by your keeper, but shocking miss by Norwood which really cost you the game, he was an absolute nuisance all game though and you looked best when you played into his feet and off of him rather than pinging long diagonals. I expect we'll come at you more at home, especially now we know we can compete - might sound ridiculous to you but going to play at Ipswich in the league is a big occasion - you've got to learn to break teams down. Even we're now getting teams coming to us and sitting in, and we've struggled (see us losing to Tranmere). On this topic, up top we have plenty of rotation options, Smyth Bayo and Wheeler started yesterday, with Kashket coming on and all 4 are effective league 1 players in their own way - Kashket and Smyth could play higher easily IMO. We've got 4 genuinely good other options too, Rolando Aarons, Fred Onyedinma, Alex Samuels and Josh Parker. Hopefully it'll still be 1st vs 2nd on NYD, that could be a much bigger game. This is why they are likely to fall away though too. As soon as injuries and suspensions kick in, they do not have the strength in depth to cope.

Chambo let the ball bounce then headed it away once it had bounced watch the highlights . First rule of defending dont let it bounce ! Luke will be well aware he got it wrong . Did not cost us thanks to Holy's big leg .

Nice insight :) Flabbergasted though, as here's another report saying a Norwood miss cost us the game that we did actually score a perfectly legitimate goal in. I think the chalking off of the goal cost us more, but I agree that the Norwood chance has to go in really.
