No beeb, the tie of the round is Arsenal v Leeds, that's going to be hard to call if Leeds field a strong side..

Liverpool v Everton isn't the tie it should be..

Arsenal to poach Bielsa beforehand?

I know that won't happen but would add some spice if it did!

Hadn't thought of that one, he would seem to be a good fit...

Can remember them two drawing each other in the nineties and the game and subsequent replay which were two of the most boring games in the history of the game.

It’s not that big of a game I don’t think as it’s happened ‘recently’...

08 Jan 2011 Arsenal v Leeds United 1-1 FA Cup
19 Jan 2011 Leeds United v Arsenal 1-3 FA Cup
09 Jan 2012 Arsenal v Leeds United 1-0 FA Cup

Well you're a bundle of joy this evening, I'll bump this when it's 2-3 to Leeds..

Leeds will take 20,000 there...10,000 outside though..

I think Leeds will go there and show Arsenal exactly what they lack as a team, great time to play them, Leeds right now the best they've been in years...

I am not sure where I got my 1972 ticket from ,1973 one was actually from Leeds because someone I worked with in Ipswich had a relative in Leeds that got the ticket.
I think 1974 was maybe from Suffolk FA because I was involved in running a works Sunday Morning football team.

1962 my dad was on the Woodbridge branch of ITFC Supporters Club committee so that one was from ITFC I assume.

Can't remember how come I got a ticket for 1978!

Sometime before the kick off at the 1973 Final, David Bedford (who was our top athlete at the time) raced (i think) Emiel Puttemans round the perimeter of the pitch. The daft things you remember...........
Please correct me if I'm wrong

I am not correcting you, you are very likely right, but I don't remember that.

I remember Tommy Steele leading the Community singing "Abide With Me" etc in 1972 though.

Tie of the game is IPS/COV vs BR/Plymouth. I am saying this now as I dream of being in the same stadium as Alex Scott and hope they agree with my pick.

Man United supporting friend of mine got his ticket for the 1976 (or 1977) cup final from a mate who was a member of the Oxford University Football Club.

Another friend told the story of being at a cup final (can't remember which one) where the bloke next to him asked 'so who's playing this year?'

I was at the 1990 final (first game), 95 and 96. All three involved Manchester United which was a complete coincidence.

By biggest memory is Liverpool fans taking defeat very badly in 96.

I would have to say Sunderland beating Leeds. Not because the underdog won, but that was my first time at Wembley and the atmosphere was something else. The Sunderland fans were absolutely fantastic.
They also had a knitted red and white scarf that must have been a mile long that worked it's way round the supporters every so often.
