general rule of politics: our opponents lie. simple init.
And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

Did you see the YouGov poll statistics I quoted? Do they concern you?
Can you give me 3 clear examples of where Corbyn has openly lied about something? I don't mean you disagree with what you said but where it can be demonstrably shown to be a lie.
Johnson's quote in the OP shows how little he thinks of it. Can you give a similar example of where Corbyn brushes off a lie as just a bit of harmless fun?

when you get to the point of believing that your guy is that paragon of all saintly virtues and your opponent is simply an evil liar you probably need to take a step back, take a deep breath and pause for a bit. otherwise, in terms of what's wrong with uk politics, it will include you.

No, that is you just trying to wriggle out of admitting that both the Tories and Leave have lied consistently on an almost industrial scale.
Those lies are cleasrly evident, if only in your words.
so in your view lying is something only tories do?

Stop putting words into my mouth (your own lies - I never said that at all about Corbyn) and answer the question. 3 clear provable examples of him lying please.
You may think all politicians are plain liars but the scale of it with our current Prime Minister is ridiculous and must not be allowed to continue unchallenged.

Once again your unfounded accusation that Johnson is only doing what everyone else in politics does.
3 clear provable examples of lies from Corbyn (not just views about his policies) please.
i'm not saying that everyone else lies. i'm saying that we all think our opponents lie.
i have no desire to join in with the silliness.

Just for fun.....
1. He regularly claimed the Labour membership was the largest it has ever been under his leadership. However at its peak it was just over 500k, whilst for much of the century it was actually more. Over 1m at its peak.
2. He likes to claim he has “not had higher education of any sort” despite attending North London Polytechnic for a while.
3. There was the whole sitting on the train floor because it was “ram packed” due to privatisation thing.....when there were actually plenty of seats.
Not in the PMs league.....but you wanted 3 examples so there you go....

Please link evidence for the claim that the Labour Party had a membership of over 1M.
Please link where he claims your second lie.
Please show proof there were plenty of seats - I have heard it said but am not willing to just take hearsay as proof.

OK. Final question then. Do YOU think Johnson lies?
stuff you disagree with isn't the same as an intention to deceive.
the vehemence with which people currently disagree ends up with us all calling each other liars. in the main it just means that we think other people are wrong.

But this is the point.
With Johnson it is not just stuff we disagree with.
Can you see the reservation tickets in the backs of the seats in that image?
"But the Labour leader stood by his description of the train journey, saying while there had been some available seats he had not been able to sit with his wife".
I am not convinced this is a clear demonstrable lie.
