Good result for Scotland but bad result for the UK as a whole.

Nope, the country got what they voted for. Great result.

Yes they have. Let's just hope the cost isn't too high.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

The Tories won't put forward a bill to give them a referendum like they did last time.
UDI - Unilateral Declaration of Independence - may be an option.
However, a more likely route is the Tory Brexit deal. They might sacrifice NI in the Brexit deal to get it past the EU. Brexit will force NI to cooperate with the Republic and form cross-border agreements in a way that might make NI see their future lies with the Republic as Westminster abandons them.
If NI leaves the Union then the door opens for Scotland.
I don't think the Tories understand NI so this is quite possible.

To give up NI would hopefully see the back BJ.
It would be a very bad move. I'd hope he isn't that stupid.

Problem how do you solve the problem of a border. I've not got the answer but isn't there technology in use which can go toward a sensible solution?

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.
