and excuses truly crap footballers like Jackson, Nolan, Donacien et al and just ship them out asap. A truly unprecedented low level of quality.

Yes let's drop our top scorer, he's crap and offers nothing

Wtf were you watching? Jackson set up our goal and was our only credible threat.

This is far more down to swapping and changing surely.

The players are more than capable at this level [!] but when the set-up is messed about with constantly you cannot expect them to create a lasting understanding.

I cannot believe the basics that are being ignored here.

As was Norwood. Keane was invisible second half.

Agenda driven rubbish.

Jackson was the best of the forwards and laid Norwood goal on a plate for him.

It's ridiculous the stick he gets from some quarters on here with nothing football related to back it up.

I don't understand why you'd single him out. He set up the goal and put at least one other chance on a plate, had a shot that was on target but for a handball, and was generally a threat in behind. Of our forwards today he deserves the least criticism.

Agree with both of you. Jackson and Norwood played well along with Keane in the first half. Would like to see us persist with this ... Until Sears comes into the reckoning at least.

Norwood, goal aside, looked a non-league player I thought.

Correct.

Flashed two crosses across the face within the first two minutes of the second half. One Norwood was offside but missed from less than a metre anyway and the second nobody connected with.

He was probably in our top 3 performers today. Genuinely don't know what the OP was watching. Jackson has 7 goals and more or less as many assists. He's not our problem.

Oh i agree - Norwood is awful too. I didn’t intend to single out Jackson, could have listed most. Agree Lambert Is to blame with his inexplicable rotation too. Wtf is he thinking? He will of course roll out the “clubs come here and raise there game blah blah”

Odd to mention Jackson at all. He was decent today and has scored a decent number and set up more goals than anyone. He's not our problem. In fact we should be looking to play to get the best out of him.

Agreed. Not sure if he is still carrying an injury but at the moment he looks a poor footballer. Keane was a completely different level to him first half, shame he fizzled out second.

Jackson was our best player and Donacien didn't even play today? Nolan wasted a lot but was still a focal point in midfield.

He certainly seems to have a very poor conversion rate. Despite taking his goal well I thought he missed two much simpler chances. One that he managed to hit the bar when the whole goal was opened and a later header in the 6 yard box where he somehow managed to get such a soft connection that the keeper had a simple save. I really don’t know how he managed that from a cross that had decent pace on it. It really was a simple scoring opportunity.

Would make sense if this is the system we stick with given Sears is on his way back. It can’t come quick enough for me.

Thought he played well today, and was very much a threat. He created a couple of chances including the goal, and linked well throughout the game.
