I still think we will be okay 17:39 - Dec 14 with 766 viewsurbanblue

I can honestly say there was a lot that I enjoyed watching the game today. The three up front worked well especially in the first half. Dozzell is much improved with getting a run of games. Woolfenden looked absolute class again although we do need a replacement for Chambers in the window. Wilson not quite up to it.

The stats that came up on ifollow were, quite frankly ridiculous and showed our dominance. Can't be bothered to look them up again but there was something like 76 clearances by them and 4 by us the whole game although I concede that we should have had a couple more for the goals.

All you lot throwing their toys out of the pram having not watched the game should calm down.

Good night.

Did the three up front work...

Whatever happened to playing footballers in their correct positions.

Not sure we need a replacement for Chambers. Why not just use Chambers?

If you watched the game I am not sure how meaningless 'stats' have any point.

Your view that we played ok is more relevant than idiotic numbers that have no context ie a missed shot can be one that skimmed the bar from 30 yards out, or one that hit row Z from 20 yards out.

Passes completed will show a higher number from a team tip tapping it back and forth to see out time .....etc

I’d take losing that way over losing under McCarthy a million times over.

We need Chambers, not a replacement for him. Three up front didn't work. I was at the game. Can I have what you're drinking please?

Chambers has a lot of experience and is a good leader, but is slowing down with age. We need to plan for a future in the Championship. Wolfenden can be a key part of that future; and Nsiala, when fully fit and feeling confident, has the potential to be.

I think the three up front will be a work in progress but Keane and Jackson in particular showed more potency and fluidity than any of our wingers have over the season.
