What an awful start to this game by Town, with 6 changes from the previous game as usual for a PL side, that seems drawn out of a hat? By the time that the team knew how to play, we were 2 goals down.
To be fair our goal was a gem of a move, and there were several highlights during this match, and many goal scoring opportunities missed...BUT we are getting beaten by lesser sides that know the act of TEAM PLAY.
We need PL to recognise this, and select our best team and formation...and stick with it, to let a SET OF PLAYERS to GEL into a TEAM. (This is meant as positive comment PL).
As for the only cup that we are left in, I suggest that the U23 team Managers should pick and Manage the side and have the choice of all their own squad plus our Ist team (fringe players) at their disposal, they might have the nous and desire to actually pick a team and formation to win? |  |
