Labour Party staff might go on strike 23:18 - Dec 18 with 1414 viewsgiant_stow

Due to special treatment of a couple of bosses.

All getting a bit twilight zone now.

Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

A bad defeat tends to expose all the fault-lines within a party. There was considerable infighting amongst Conservatives in the late '90s and early 2000s.

It will be massive infighting for a few months now after that GE result and Corbyn staying on as leader instead of resigning immediately isnt going to help.

I can smell something......

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

Hadn't thought of it like that, but yeah - they could either sack two high-earners who are directly responsible for the shambles, or 5+ underlings. wonderful example to all those nasty capitalists.

George Orwell’s Animal Farm springs to mind.

These really are unpleasant people btw. Within 48 hours, Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Theresa May all personally phoned MP’s who had lost their seats at General elections. Corbyn hasn’t so much as sent an email commiserating with the 60 Labour MPs who lost theirs. One defeated Labour MP said that she bumped into Cirbyn in the HOC on Monday when she went into clear her desk, he stooped, did a double take then carried in walking without any acknowledgement.

I feel vindicated in my pouring hot tar on him for all these months.

I don't see many of his staunch defenders posting that he has been 'misunderstood' or some other excuse.

The criticism of your posting was that you took any attack on Corbyn at face value, mainly from the Express. There is plenty of valid criticism of Corbyn's past and views without resorting to the fanciful.

Not at all.
I don't read the Express. The examples have been from the BCC among others. Please review as photos, speeches and other factual things were shared with my comments.

No hearsay, as best I can recall.

People took umbrage at calling him out in a pointed and direct way. Some I think thought he was so credible that the horrid underbelly was somehow painted gold.

This latest episode is yet more fuel to his own pyre (of his own making I might add).

The frustrating thing from my perspective is the disproportional criticism. JC deserves all he gets (where it is genuine). What's going on in the Tories is equally as bad, and arguable worse as it is affecting far more people. Yet they, in the main, escaped criticism from those slating Labour. It works both way and is a tribalism that doesn't move us forward. It just comes across as naked politicking and propaganda, which is why people push back on it..

Anyway, back to the OP, Milne is as shifty as they come. I wouldn't trust him any further than I could throw him (people like him and Cummings, with their elevated positions of trust and poisonous whisperings in the ears of supposed leaders, are a threat to all of us).

You were criticised for making stuff up and often not even properly reading the articles you were using to attack him. You haven't been vindicated at all, I still think you're incredibly dishonest.

Oh, I made an error on a piece on the BBC I quoted and held my hands up to that.

Look back. I quote interviews, show images, factual articles.
Where I have credible experience I add my own opinion.

Have you listened to R4 this week? Labour MP's are happy to tell stories of how Corbyn was the problem. Time after time.

May I ask you to troll their twitter feed as I'm not the creator of the news, I've just highlighted it.

BTW, you've never offered anything other than loud rebukes. If you have anything from my sources to add which refutes what I've posted please do. Until then log onto MySpace and share you views their.

Labour specialise in this stuff. Tories are much better at burying their dead.

Corbyn should have gone the morning after the election, with a grandee with no designs on the long term leadership caretaking the role and taking the charlatan opposite to task. The idea of corbyn standing toe to toe with johnson now is laughable.

Trailing vapour since 1999.

He’s spent his whole life being the underdog and fighting the good fight against those seeking to repress him. I can’t see a little hiccup like this putting him off.

Which is a disaster for the country as we’ve no functional opposition. He definitely should have gone.

My sister-in-law is Corbyn fan with some role in a local branch of the party - could be an interesting Christmas keeping her at arms length from my Mail & Express worshipping old man 🙈

I once had the pleasure of having two extended family members over for a Christmas dinner, one an avid Trump fan, the other, very much less so.

A horrible logistical mistake was made, and they were left alone together briefly

“ ..how would you like it if he grabbed your p....”

was where the discussion was at when I popped in to see if anyone needed a drink.

Post-dinner Monopoly was not risked.
