Donovan wrote and performed the songs used as the theme music for series 1, Hurdy Gurdy Man, and series 2, Season of the Witch.

He was the UK’s answer to Dylan in the 60’s.

A bit of trivia for you. His son was married a week after I was in the same church in Luss, on Loch Lomond.
