The negativity is incredible 19:16 - Dec 26 with 670 views | Garv | The negativity of the players is incredible. Blame Lambert, blame the players, whoever. They’re petrified of passing or running forward with the ball. Brainless today too. Twice in the first half when they pressed us (which they did well) we played the ball back to Norris on his right foot and then acted surprised when he sliced it to the opposition. General oddness: Downes benched in a big game in front of a big crowd. One sub, a player who’s been out for nine months, on for ten mins. The referee - not making players go off the near side for subs. Fouls and offsides given when advantage could and should have been played. Not beating the first man at free kicks and corners.

The negativity is incredible on 19:19 - Dec 26 with 634 views | FrimleyBlue | Wouldn't say its negativity. Football is a game of phases and you can't learn phases of play if you're playing with different players each week. Look at the top striking partnerships. You learn where the other player is gonna run. Or when he's gonna make space for you to run into. Midfield are aware of their team mates. For me. We have no idea who will play week by week so how you can train for a game....

Even Mick would use three subs most of the time, if it was clear nothing was happening with those already on.

Yes. Whether he used the subs the fans wanted him to was another matter but he did make them. Which leads me onto another question - why Donacien for Sears instead of Edwards? Why did he think Edwards at right back would work? For me should have been Sears for Edwards, Downes for Judge and Wilson for Nsiala - switch to a 4-3-3.

Clegg is, and always has been, the problem. He's all wrapped up in London's Olympic bid.
