I've seen a few threads where people are thinking time is catching up with Cole Skuse this season, and I wondered if people, especially those who watch the 23's, hought Mcgavin might be ready to try and make this position his.

Dozzy simply doesn’t have the physicality for League One though does he.

I think you need to be able to rely on your central midfielders being able to last for 90 minutes as well.

Seen him many of time now, mainly for 23’s and his odd game for the first team. He should involved more in my opinion. To rest the role in his shoulders right now is possibly asking too much with games coming thick and fast.

Nevertheless I believe he will the natural successor of Cole Skuse, and a very good one.

Would like to see Dozzell get more minutes first though.

Not seen enough of McGavin to form an opinion yet but it’s great to see youngsters breaking into the first team picture.

Our midfield has lacked so much in recent weeks that I would like to see a Downes & Dozzell combo given a run of games.
