I've never understood those people. How can you concentrate with all that going on? Plus, it's difficult to have a discreet tommy tank in such a public place. Keep it at home.

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

It can be very awkward. Last time I did it people kept asking who my big, bald friend was and why he was crying.

Back in the day, one of my more degenerate school friends planned a day off as he was going to treat himself to a massive w@nkathon with his new Whitehouse mag.

He reckoned he managed 17 and that after about 7 you're down to a dry cough. I can't verify any of these as facts but knowing the lad I believe him.

I tend not to make a habit of it. Even the local independent coffee shop has a high ratio of table-clogging laptoppers. Far better to stay home and make a decent hot drink

I'm not banned, but I don't think I am exactly welcome.

Anyway, I prefer Paddy and Scotts which is a much smaller chain and also Ipswich based. Support your local coffee vendors peeps.
