They don't need to have troops in said country to bomb the place.

Not that surprising but not sure what will happen now. There are plenty of Iraqis who don't like the Iranians in the least given their history and they were protesting against the government aligning itself with Iran the other day.

Could end up with another civil war or at least a lot of civil unrest unless that's resolved.

No - but Iraq should be applauded for showing their contempt for US terrorism. A pity we havent threatened to do the same.

Worth noting that it's a non-binding motion and no troops have to leave....yet.

However it makes the position of western troops in the country untenable longer term.

It doesn't mean that US troops will actually leave Iraq, just look at the situation in Syria -

"We're keeping the oil – remember that," Trump declared on Monday at a gathering of police chiefs in Chicago. "We want to keep the oil. Forty-five million dollars a month? Keep the oil. We've secured the oil."

"It can help us, because we should be able to take some also," Trump said of Syria's oil while taking reporters' questions at the White House. "And what I intend to do, perhaps, is make a deal with an Exxon Mobil or one of our great companies to go in there and do it properly."

Whatever Trump does he has God on his side, I actually thought this was a parody -

The visit of Soleimani to Baghdad was a setup from the start by Trump in order to carry out the 'hit'?

Mediation and dialogue US style -

"Abdul-Mahdi said President Trump called him to ask for help in mediating with Iran after the U.S. embassy in Baghdad was attacked."

"In his comments on Sunday, Prime Minister Abdel Mahdi decried the U.S. strike as illegal and defended Soleimani, claiming that the Iranian general was his guest and that they had planned to meet on the morning he was killed to go over a Saudi proposal to defuse tensions. He also said that before the drone strike, Trump had called him to request he help mediate the conflict with Iran."

Iraq is a failed state and has been ever since Bush (& his allies) decided to embark on the ill-conceived 2nd Iraq war. The idea that Saddam could be replaced by a Western-style democracy in a country with huge religious & tribal divisions & no political institutions was laughable. The result - plus the equally ill-conceived encouragement of rebels against Assad in Syria helped spawn ISIS.
The US can't help but be involved in power politics in the Middle East given its support for Israel & historic use of oil from the region, but the US is now virtually self sufficient in energy so it should withdraw from the Middle East & let the locals sort things out for themselves. The trouble is, this will effectively become a fight between Saudi Arabia & Iran.

Trump has now ordered Iranians to be detained at points of entry and exit into the USA.

Which is illegal.
