Is available as well from Sheffield United.
Would be a great signing.

Poll: Who is your favourite outfield Town player of the 1978 cup winning team?

There's no way he'd drop to League one surely.

Also be very expensive I imagine.

Poll: Who would you play in place of Burns on Sunday?

Would be a very good signing were we to persist with 3-5-2 (not adverse to).

Has been moulded to play in it under Wilder.

Would suspect wages would be far too much though.

He's 32, only played 16 times in the champ last season.

It's not that much of a drop.

I doubt we will sign him, but I'd love it if we did.

Until we offload several players - no one is coming into this bloated squad.

Playing 3 5 3 would be cheating.

I thought he was older than that, given how long ago he was with us.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

the trouble is a lot of this bloated squad are simply not very good.

43 contracted players I read on EADT earlier, a lot of those being first team players as well.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

He’s 32-33 years old and has played only 44 games I think since 2016, so I’d say not a good option now. It’s too late, he’s too old and will probably only suffer injuries. We’ve got enough of those players in the squad already.

Indeed, can't imagine there is much of a queue for Edwards, Donacien, Toto, etc!!

RIP Sir Bobby

Did a very good job at RB too.

We should offer Col U a swap. Donacien Toto Edwards Nolan Huws Kenlock and Cotter for Courtney Senior and Luke Norris. Nobody would even need to move house.

But im very upset about Toto. He's a great bloke but playing sooooo badly.

There's no way PL will be getting any more in, even though he needs to, unless he offloads a few, our squad is huge for L1!

It's a ridiculous number. Too many got confused thinking our squad was wonderfully good for this level, but instead was looking at the shear volume of numbers. Easy mistake to make!

He certainly does come across as a very decent fella, but as a defender he looks woefully short of even being a decent L1 defender. Appreciate he might be low in confidence, so not playing his natural game, but even last season he'd allow the ball to bounce, not track runners and would make wild lunges into tackles and didn't really seem to learn. Just couldn't see why we paid the money we did for him.

It is really good for this level, when we name a starting XI there isn't a team in the league who wouldn't take at least half of them in their side.

Getting the best out of them is the issue we are facing, and making them into more than the sum of their parts

I think settling system and personnel has evidently hindered get the best out of our squad.

The likes of Huws/Dozzell/Nolan have really suffered from not knowing whether they are in or out, or what system they will be in, requirements changing from week to week.

Think Huws and Downes could our best pair going into the back half of the season, with Skuse dropping into the 3 at the back replacing Wilson, subsequently moving Toto on.

Also, with regards to Stearman (and any other half decent player), would they really want to come here if they then become part of a massive rotisserie? I think not.

I’m going to respectfully disagree. Think we have some very decent players without doubt, but we view it through blue tinted specs believing everyone wants our players and our squad is far too good. Not sure they would if I’m being honest.

Think i'd rather Tommy to be honest. He's younger and is a leftie which we need for better balance. Can defend and score a few too. Can't remember the last time we scored a header from a corner!?
